Luzerner Kantonsspital AG, the legal entity behind Luzerner Kantonsspital (LUKS), is 100 percent owned by the Canton of Lucerne and therefore belongs to the public. Due to its service mandate, it is only permitted to invest its financial resources in research to a very limited extent.
