Cooperation agreement

The LUKS Research Foundation and the Institute for Medical Engineering signed a cooperation agreement on October 15, 2020. This partnership aims to advance research in medical device development through shared resources and expertise.

At its unique location in Lucerne, the LUKS Clinical Research Foundation drives current, innovative, and internationally networked research to improve patients' lives through practical applications and create synergies and innovations in medical progress.

The LUKS Clinical Research Foundation promotes an "academic biotope" where research, teaching, and practice are closely linked to develop innovations and transfer them directly to patient care.

Innovation Hub Central Switzerland

The new center uses the state-of-the-art LUKiS clinical information system to conduct innovative research aimed at improving treatment processes and quality of care. By promoting interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration, it significantly contributes to strengthening Central Switzerland as an innovation hub.
